I have a 2000 21v riders edition and am looking at getting a new prop. I have had a bunch of people on another forum talk about the OJ Fusion prop and give high praises to it. But I want to hear from other Tige owners what you guys run and the differences it made. Only wakeboarding and surfing on the boat so need something to handle the weight.

We put on an Acme #537, 13.5”-16, 1 1/8”, LH, 4 blade and what a difference in pulling up.
It think the 537 wasn't available until 2003 or 2004 and it was standard from the factory then.
We don't surf, but there is another Acme prop that is even lower which might be better for that.
I think of it as "lower" as in gearing down the rearend of a car for better acceleration.

PM SBPFan or chpthril. They both rep Acme props. I bought my spare ACME 535 from SPBFan and got a great deal on prop bag and prop removal kit. The kit is nice. It holds the prop in one section and wrench and prop remover in another along with new nut and cotter pin. I added a pair of leather gloves since prop edges are pretty sharp.

Thanks for all the input guys. This is all good info to know. So when removing to the prop do you have to have the prop puller? I still have the original OJ prop the R&T is talking about and I am debating throwing that back on untill I figure out exactly which prop I want and how ever long the shipping takes. The stainless steel one that is on right now just isn't handling the weight very well and has some nicks that I think aren't helping.

ACME definitely has their finger on the pulse of the wake boat community and their CNC props are top notch.
I have heard good things about what OJ is doing these days, but can not offer an real comparison. I think MC is using them as their OEM, but not 100%.....I thought I read someone was. So, nothing negative to say against OJ, but tons of great things about ACME.
Before choosing a replacement, it's always a great idea to contact the pros and get their advice. They will need all the specs about your boat, plus all the variable such as lake elivation, load, how its used and what your current prop's short comings are.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Our boats came stock with the Cutter stainless. You will be much much happier with the Acme. The Cutter is so stiff that it imparts much more vibration thorough the driveline, plus if you hit anything, it will not bend but will tear up the driveline. Also, it is pitched wrong for wakeboarding. Pulls skiers great, but puts the power at the wrong speed. Can't tell you what a difference it makes in the performance when you are wakeboarding or surfing. Worth every penny you will spend. Still have my Cutter stainless, can't give it away. Figured I would just make it a decoration at the lakehouse. OJ has been making props a long time, I have Acme and think it is great.

So I went and bought the puller and ended up not even using it. When I pulled the nut off the prop slid right off too....not sure if that was necessarly a good thing. But a new question is how tight does the nut need to be? I didn't torque it I just tightened it till I saw the prop sit back where the line of the other one was.
