    Trackfins Bent Like Hell...

So I beached my boat a lil bit (at least I think this is how it happened) and i used about 8 dudes to help rock my boat towards the right and this is what happend.. I bent the last tracking fin severley and the other two are off by about an inch or two.. I was lucky not to tear them out, I think! Ordered three new fins... I would have never known if it were for the crappy steering and the horrible speed when trying to tow somebody.. would the way that this is bent make it a lot slower to go and get on a plane.. otherwise I might have something else wrong.. I'm almost positive it is this though becuase everything on the boat has been running superb... Thanks Guys.. and learn from me.. Don't move your boat left to right if you get stuck... pull it straight back..

Holy balls! You bent the shizznitt outta that thing! If everything else is as it was befre you did that then I would assume the fin would be causing the problems you mentioned.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Wow thats amazing, i would of thought something else would have given before it could get bent that far. Thanks for the warning.

Another thing to watch out for when beaching.... Make sure the prop is not bouncing up and down and the floor of the lake. I thought I had mine deep enough, but a bunch of tubers came out and started ripping it up. Cost me $115 to straighten out 2 of 3 blades!!

Yeah.. just a little bro! lol.. I went through a local Tige dealer out here.. I called Tige direct and they wanted the same price as the dealer.. about 80 bucks a fin. I went ahead and ordered all three. My landlord owns a boat shop so he will be replacing them... anybody know if you have to remove the fuel tank to get them off...From underneath the boat the only thing holding them on is 4 Screws.

I beached mine for the first time the this weekend. I thought of this thread made me a bit nervous especially when the wind picked up and started moving my boat sideways a little.
