CURVEBALL!!! i cleaned all that crap out of the trans cooler and crossed my fingers.... we went out tonight and cruised around the lake for about 20 min with 4 ppl in the boat and the temp was good the whole time. i filled up the surf ballast and thought i would test it b4 i tried to ride behind it because i didn't have an experienced driver. I took off and by time the boat reached surf speed it overheated again! we idled around for 5 minutes and it was cooled down and back to normal temp. I though i would try wakeboarding because the boat has more speed=more water in the intake. we wakeboarded for an hour and it was fine the whole time. after that i tried to surf again and it overheated instantly......... what gives???

What's the inside of the impeller housing look like? It it's blue'd and scored, it's toast. It could have overheated and is now out of round.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

i'll check that next.... i pulled the outlet hose off the trans cooler and started it for a split second and it's definitely pumping lots of water......
However, at the same time there was VERY hot water being pumped out the hose that i removed(from the motor). How in the world can there be water pumping back out that hose????
