    Center drain plug on 24V

Just got a 24V and I've got two plugs. I can figure out the transom plug but I can't figure out where the other plug goes (brassy in color with a square head on it). In my older inboard this would go at the lowest point of the boat just in front of the engine. But I can't figure out where it goes in this boat. Found in another post that someone said it's under their table mount in their 20v. Is it in the same place on mine? 2004 24v?

    thanks

Yes.. I suppose that would make some sense...get under the boat and look for the hole It was dark when I got it last night but I guess I can do that this afternoon.

There is only one drain plug on the 24v, its locate in the transom just like every other boat. Only on direct drive boat will you usually find 2 drain plugs. It looks like you have a spare.

Yup - probably just a spare. But, to test, just launch your boat, and if you see a geyser of water entering your bilge, then you just located the other drain hole.

Is there a built in cooler? I have one for my built in cooler.

Our 21V has a second drain plug under the table mount in the center of the rear seat.
                  The transom drain is useless.
I replaced the table mount in the seat base with a round hatch and can access the plug without removing the rear seat base.
It's all drained out by time we get home.

alright... I'm a dope...the one I thought went in the transom goes in the built in cooler... and the other one goes in the transom. So we're good

On my old boat (88' Ski Centurion) there was a second "drain plug" but it was right below the oil pan to be able to get the oil drain hose down thru the hull.

Ya...that's where I've got it on my '85 Ski Supreme...so I was expecting something similar but apparently not the case, just the transom.
