    Gas cap

Lost the gas cap on our 2005 22V this weekend. Anyone know a good website for replacement or should I just go straight through Tige. We have no local dealer.

Was thinking about replacing the original w/ a locking style anyway. Has anyone used one of these?

    Thanks!

      no luck on westmarine's website.

Does anyone know the type of gas fill used on this year and model?

Any 2005 22v owners out there that could look at their's? I need to know the name of manufacturer and part number of the fill housing used in order to find a cap that will fit. For example Perko 0540

I have to think somewhere on that housing that the cap threads into, there is some kind of identifying information.

I'd check mine but my boat is 2 1/2 hours away and I forgot to look before leaving.

If you don't have a dealer close by you could try contacting Tige' direct with your hull number to get you started. Try emailing Lee Ramirez [lramirez@tige.com]

I just realized you are also from the KC area. Ryan Didier (formerly owner of Just Ride sports) can hook you up if you want to purchase through Tige' as he is still a authorized factory repair shop for them d.b.a (B and C boat shop).

I emailed Lee and he pointed me to eddiemarine.com I guess they supplied the fuel fill's for that year.

part # 265-34P......that's the whole assembly but if you ask for just the gas cap you can get it w/out the rest for $40.
