Taps proplems???

On my 07 22 ve, When i adjust the taps while in gear, the transmission kicks into idle and the buzzer sounds and light lights up. Any advice?

Neither has our local tige dealer. They put a new taps button on in the winter and it has been doing this since. I have called them and they claim there isn't any way they could be connected. I guess I will haul it back in there next week.

It has got be be shorting out on something, I'd completly check all the wiring first.
