bilge pump location

On my 06 22ve, the bilge pump is mounted in the back. Is there a better location to mount it, since the rear is higher than the middle of the boat? Obviously, near the center would be better, but the fuel tank is covering the center. Any suggestions?

If you dont have factory ballast, between the fuel tank and V drive would work. Probably to the left or right of it actually. If you have factory ballast, the fill pumps and supply manifold are in that area.

Why do you want to relocate it?
