What oil should I run in my transmission?

its an 06 22ve with a 5.7L marine power motor. I'll have to check on the trans

If it is the ZF, it could take ATF or straight 30wt. motor oil. Mine had motor oil in it but, many have ATF. You should be able to tell the difference when you pull the dipstick. Just put back in whatever was already in it.

If it is the Borg Warner Velvet Drive.
