Upholstery Problems 04 22v

So 2 years ago the Upholstery started cracking on the seats of our 2004 22v. The boat was cleaned after each use and we never used harsh cleaners or chemicals and at the time the boat only had 150 hours on it and now has 310. The rear seats of my boat are now completely shot, every seat is ripped to shreds around the stitching.

I dont know what caused this but I hope if it is a material defect that Tige' is not using it anymore.

Has anyone else had these problems or know of a good shop that I can send my seats to to be re-covered?

My 03 22V is starting the same behavior around the seams. Also the pull straps on the rear gear trap doors are starting to rip.

I figure I will be needing to start getting work done locally soon. I hope they can match the vinyl without having to do the whole boat.

Do a search, you will find quite a few threads in regards to the upholstery around that year.

yeah, mine are holding up just so well. Lots of glue and unsightly, but functional repairs have been done.
