No power to the Faris unit (depth finder) on Dash - 2001 v2100

Hi folks. Recently I fired up the v2100 and went to turn on the Faris unit on the dash that contains a depth finder and nothing. No beeps, nothing comes up on the display, seems like its not getting power or the unit is dead. It's been working fine for the 3 years we've had the boat, never an issue. The water levels fluctuate a lot on our lake so I'd like to get the depth finder back up.

I'm guessing the first place to start is the wiring/ground and the fuse. Can anyone point me to the best way to get behind the dash/locate the fuse?

We fixed it, just stuck my head under the dash and saw a wire had completely broken going to the unit. Spliced it back together with a wire connector cap thing and the unit is operational again.
