Hose fitting

Is there suppose to be a fitting here for a house hose? Does anyone else have this?

It looks as though one could be added. My 2006 20V did not have that. There’s a pretty good write up of adding a strainer to a 20V.

Looks like a quick connect fitting for flushing with house hose. strainer was added by a prior owner.

And it also looks like no thread sealant was used on any of the pipe fittings...but that is not a stock option and was most likely added to opt out of using a fake-a-lake.
