Took out the new to me boat I bought today. After cruising for about 45 seconds an alarm went off. The boat would keep cruising as long as i didn't touch the throttle but as soon as i touched the throttle it would slow way down. Seemed like a limp mode. All the gauges looked good. Temps good oil pressure good voltage good. Turn the boat off and on then would run fine. Im a little disappointed cause obviously i just bought it today. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Also. The red light wasn't in when the alarm was going off -
Well i didn't do a test drive. But i know the boat place will take it back if i change my mind . I was told by a guy on facebook to check the shallow and deep setting. I want to say the shallow setting was at 10’ and i was at 7.5’. But I didn’t pay that close attention to it. I hooked my fake a lake up when i got home from the lake and it runs so good. Ran it for quite awhile and couldn’t get the alarm to go off .Comment
