My boat overheats in the lake in about 20 minutes. Runs fine when hooked up to a water hose at the house. Please help. Is there a pump between the intake and the hose connection that isn't drawing the water in?

Impeller
After it overheated the 1st time I took it to the lake, I was told that it was probably the impeller. I just bought this boat from a guy in FL and we took it out before I brought it to KY. It ran great and he said he has never had an overheating problem. He recently had serviced it an replaced the impeller. I looked at the impeller yesterday and it looked brand new.
