Lift boat on trailer - 20V

I have a trailer with four carpet covered wooden bunks, probably like many. I need to replace some rotten wood. So I need to lift the boat slightly, so I can remove the old bunk, and slide the new one in place and bolt it down. If I put a jack, with some wood, under the keel and lift am I good? I would be lifting closer to the front. Thanks.

What I did in the past was launched the boat and wife n crew went on the lake while I swapped out the bunks in the parking lot. Took 30min or so...

Yeah, that was also the plan B! Probably way easier.
