I got quotes of $1500 and up in Houston. I'd go for that price in a heartbeat.

$895 sounds like a great number if they fix the cracks. To lower bunks on mine cost me $500 new. My trailer cost me $2595 + the $500 new.

I own a fabrication shop, and $895 sounds a little too good to be true. the powdercoating would cost atleast that much. also if they are including the repair in that cost they would probably only weld the crack up but for this repair that is not sufficient to reap long term benifits from this repair. this needs to be cut out and replaced.

Another type of repair that could be done is to have that beam plated on each side but total replacement will probably cheaper and last longer.
