Z1 Tower mounting measurements

Hello,

Does anyone have the factory measurements for tower on an 08 Z1? This winter I'm going to put a tower on my boat and wondered if anyone had the factory measurements. Thanks in advance!

So, your 08 Z1 doesnt have a tower? 2 perfect options that come to mind are the Tige "E" series and the Samson Razor or Switchblade. Tiges Alpha Z will fit, but i'm guessing you would need to do some reinforcing at the mounting point as it's a single foot tower v's 2 feet per side like the others.

Correct no tower on it now. I'm looking into all my options. I was hoping someone would have the measurements of the factory tower to help with my searching.

Unfortunately, a few of the quality non-universal tower manufacturers did not make it through the economy - Illusion and Extreme. There are a few universal towers out there that are good quality, Monster and Fly High. There are a couple others out there that are decent and they are sharing the same towers, just sold under their own names.

I would recommend avoiding a side-mount tower. Your boat's deck (in front of and behind the windshield) are reinforced for a tower.

As Mike noted one option is the Sampsom Razor. It is a nice tower but pricey. You might want to give Scott Parnell a ring and see if he will give you the info you are looking for.
