Tige Speed Control?

Hello,

Do you know if you can adjust the speed of the cruise control with just the ignition on or does the boat have to be running? If I turn on the ignition and then turn on the cruise switch I can't change the speed it just stays on 0. I think I might have some issues with it but not sure. I'm going to the lake tomorrow to see if it is really working or not. Just thought I would ask.

Forgot to mention I have an 08 Z1 if that matters.

Huh, never tried to set the speed with the engine off as it only take a few seconds to scroll up to 20+. By time the rider is set and the slack is out of the rope, it's were it needs to be.

you should be able to set it with just the ignition on. I used to change it between riders while the boat was not running.

I did have problems with my speed control on my 08 Z1 last summer getting it set and it sometimes it would cut on and off whenever it pleased while we were wakeboarding, etc.

I think my touch pad is bad. I can't get it to move from zero. Also if I'm at speed I can't set it with the center button. Back to the dealer I guess.

Yes, it sounds like it's bad but again, there is a toggle switch that has to be turn on also on the dash in order for it to turn on. I am sure it's on but did want to point that one out. Good luck.

I did flip the toggle switch many times trying to get it to work. You don't get the speed to show on the dash with out the switch on. My dealer has one coming next week. I'm pretty sure that's what it is. It's going to be almost 80 here on Friday so I might have to make another trip with out it.

It looks like I'm good now. Got the new pad in this weekend and it now will move from zero. Hope to get out next weekend if all goes well.
