        Nice Looking Boat

        Looks good.

I also see that your dealer got the location of the bimini top correct. My dealer did not know that you could slide the coupling and bend the support arms at the knuckle. When you did that the top could be easily put up. But we had to move the top to a different top cross bar when the top is collapsed.

Where will you be doing your boating?

Thanks I appreciate the compliments. (we were so close to changing the color to orange)

            Ray,

We normally go to Center Hill Lake, but also hit Percy Priest and Old Stickery every now and then. I see you are in TN where do you guy's go?

As for my dealer knowing about the bimini he Rocks, he has always treated us great.

              Sweeet!!!

I like the pacific Blue. That was one of my final two colors but ended up with black.

              Enjoy
              Let it be!!!

I see enough orange where I live; Oliver Springs, close to Oak Ridge, and work in Knoxville on the UT campus (but I don't work for UT).

We mostly go to the Little Emory River which is close to Kingston or to Watts Bar down close to the damn. Little Emory is very smooth and connects to the Clinch River which connects to the Tennessee River.

As for my dealer, mine was the first Bimini top on this particular model they had seen and did really know how it was supposed to work. It was a learning experience for us both.

brd4fun See you at Percy, I have the all-black 22V. Did you buy your boat from the dealer in Nashville?

raythompson Where is a good place to put in and ski on Watts Bar? My friend has a cabin near by and has been begging me to tow my boat up to the lake.

If you put in at Euchee Marina, close to Spring City, you need to travel directly across the lake toward Watts Bar Damn, just follow the navigation bouys. You will pass Sand Island that usually has a lot of boats so continue on toward the damn. Once you make a big left hand turn the water gets much calmer. There are also many coves that can be used in the general area.

You can also use Bayside Marina or Blue Springs Marina to launch and try some of the coves.

The water is best in the morning as later in the day you have to seek out the quiet coves. Barges still use the river and there are some larger yachts that seem to take much joy in producing the largest, most annoying wake possible.

If you go further up the river towards Kingston and eventually get to Kingston, there are three public ramps that are very good ramps. My personal favorite is Ladds Landing as there is a good parking lot and good ramp. The dock sucks, but is good enough to pick up or drop off people.

From Ladd Landing you can head up the Clinch river (to the right), the Little Emory (straight), or down to the Tennessee River (to the left). The Little Emory is the best and has the smoothest water. It is also a little warmer.

Oh, and if you do make it to the Watts Bar Lake area, drop me a line. I might be able to meet up with you somewhere. A lot depends on the height of the lawn and other household chores.

                              Road Trip

                              Ray and poohpotta;

Hop on the I-40 west for 1870 miles, go south on AZ 95 21 miles and you are in beautiful Lake Havasu -Home of the famous London Bridge and me. Directions cant get any simpler than that.

brd4fun - Still a sweet boat. Not trying to hijack the thread.
