    Pics of New Boat

Picked up boat on friday. Here are some pics. Took out for about 2 hours today at Havasu. Only 1 issue so far. After running and shutting down, opened engine cover and had strong gas smell. Did not notice on lake test Friday nor when launching today. No visible sign of fuel leakage.

Left boat in Havasu and will look at again in 2 weeks when I go back. Hopefully a simple item to find. Love the boat. Handled the rough water great. We were one of the few boats on the lake this morning due to the winds.

      Nice Looking Boat

Who makes the tower and in particular the bimini top. It appears to have two sections and may cover more of the boat.

I just recently got my Tige and am already considering tossing the bimini that Tige provided and having a custom made bimini that will cover more of the back of the boat. I may also just get an extension made, or a seperate unit. The bimini that Tige provides is just too short.

The tower is made by Metcraft. They were OEM towers last couple of years. The Short bimini is original. The dealer had the zip on extension made at a local canvas shop. They do great work. All stainless fittings, Modified existing bimini with a zipper so you can put the rope on the tower when both tops are up. One reason I chose this tower was the ease of the bimini. We had a 2002 20v and the bimini was a nightmare to put up and take down. My wife had the dealer show us all options as I wanted the Samson Razor Tower. According to my wife(who is always right) this was the simplest. Still got the Samson mirror. When boarding we will only use the short bimini and the extension will strap on the tower. When the wind picks up and the tubing begins the extension will go up. I will post pictures in 2 weeks with the bimini open.

Spoke to my dealer about the gas smell in the engine compartment. He is going to drive the 140 miles and pick up my boat this week and take it back to his shop to look at and fix.

Sweet boat..., looks like the sub will really rock the driver. I also like the extended top. How about a picture with the tops open??

                      Thanks all.

The sub does a good job hitting the driver. My daughter is bugging me to get the tower speakers as she and her friends like to choreograph their wakeboard runs.

When I get the boat back from the dealer next week, I will post pics of the biminis opened. Hope the dealer can find the gas smell. Glad we didnt blow up on the maiden voyage.

Nice looking boat. I like the color scheme. Tige makes the nicest boats don't they?

Also interested in seeing that Bimini deployed.

Nice dealer to make a round trip like that to take a look at a possible problem. Outstanding! Mention their name. You owe it to them.

Boats of Nevada picked up the boat. Worked out well since they were delivering a customer boat to Lake Havasu and they took my boat back to Nevada with them. I brought my boat back to Havasu on the 4/22. They could not replicate the gas smell in the engine compartment. It appears it is not a leak as nothing in any of the compartments smell like gas. I did not get a chance to go on the lake as I had many honey do's to get done. I will launch 4/30 to see if the gas smell returns.

I have had several emails regarding the gas smell in the engine compartment as others have experienced this also. Anyone know the cause? let us all know

I will shoot pictures of the bimini next week as my digital camera did not survive a fall.

Finally got back to Lake Havasu last week to continue breaking in the boat. Work is way too busy.

Dealer had gone through the boat and could not find anything causing the gas smell. Put on 4 more hours on 5/21 with no issues.

Here is the picture with the extended bimini open. It came in handy as the temp was about 115

A larger picture is in my the members gallery. I do not know why this one is so small
