    Strong Gas Smell??

Lately been having a strong gas smell. Not sure where it is coming from. Anyone have any ideas as to where it could be coming from? It is very strong in the cabin area especialy by the drivers seat.

I'd check your fuel vent line. Mine vents on the passenger side, but up around the windshield. You may have to pull the floor to follow it up from the tank.

Turns out it looks to be some type of pressure equalizer for the throttle bodies. The o ring was moved and caused it to leak. Seamed to cure my heat soak problem too.

Do you have any pics? Where is it located?

Sorry, did not take any pics. It is located on the left side of the motor when facing the deck. It is under the coolant hose. It has a small gas line that runs to the right side of the motor. It did not cure my heat soak problems, but I believe it is the cause of it. I got in the boat last night and it would not start for a good half hour. Frustrated and for S and G I removed it and tons of gas vapor released. Snapped it back on and boat started right up. It is like this thing needs a release back to the tank or something.
