Beam on a 2002 21v

I get very confused on this. Is the widest part on a 2002 21v riders edition greater than 8ft. I've measured from my 2 racks on the outside of my tower and get 94 inches. The specs on the tige site show 102 inches. Where are they measuring?? I want to know if I can fit my boat on the trailer through an 8ft door opening. It is in a boat house, So would have to float my trailer to it. So before I go through that hassle I want to be sure it will fit.

On the trailer, the widest point on my boat is the distance between the top of the trailer guide pylons. I have to have mine perfectly aligned to fit into the garage. The pylons literally rub the sides as they pass through. But it saves me the $100+ per month.

Most definately wider than 8 ft.
