Back end supposed to sit low? 98 2200V

So far I love my new 98 2200V. One thing that keeps bugging me a little is that the swim platform pretty much stays in the water. Especially when the 50 gallon tank on it is filled. Is anybody elses 2200V's doing that?

Yep. Only time it's not wet is when it is on the trailer or moving right along.

sounds normal to me.Is it causing you a problem?

On most ski boats, the swim platform will be at water level or maybe just a little above.

Ours sits about 2 inches above the water line when sitting idle, fill the water bags and it goes under, as stated above this is normal, just curious how far under the water is it?

I'm not sure it is causing me any problems (other than wet feet at the slip) but it just seems to be sitting a little lower than other ski boat platforms I have been on. Surely it can't be good for the teak.

I still have my original platform and it's in great shape. We use our boat a lot.

my boats an 02 and stays in the water from april till october, my platform is still fine.
