Kudos to Tige at the INT US Championship in Bakersfield, CA

    jeanw,

I just want to say that your Tige Team riders really represented well at the INT US Championship in Bakersfield, CA this past week. Special thanks to Nick Weinacker who was everywhere all at once and did a phenomenal job announcing. Bisch & Erik did great, too! As always, Erik really knows how to put on a show.

BTW, the INT format is very family friendly and a great fit for a company that's family oriented, which Tige has proven time and time again! For those of you who don't know what INT is, they offer amateur competitions that culminate in a US Championship series, which matches the best of each state/area against each other. There are multiple divisions based on both age and expertise. The goal is to have fun, improve your riding and win prizes. Check them out at http://www.intleagues.com.

Before the rest of you all rip me for lack of pics, I have over 2,000 pictures I'm weeding through.

            Awesome pics!

Hey jeanw, maybe you guys need to start a club for Tige kids that compete. throg's son is pretty awesome. He rides expert. Even if it's a part of your website where you post results that the kids can send in when they do well. Part of the whole family atmosphere at Tige.

I like the idea...a junior sponsorship would be great PR for Tige! We do not have a Tige pulling INT in NC, so stickers, t-shirts, and gear would be good advertisement for Tige. What a confidence booster for a young rider!

We always list Tige as our tow boat on the rider BIO sheet. BTW it is definitely the most expensive and most important part of a wakeboarders practice equipment! Go Tige Riders!

This was a great week as a whole. Team TIGE represents better than any other. Those guys are down to earth and very personable. They do not think they are better than anyone else.

JEAN there are two riders that are following the TIGE program and love the TIGE boats. I thought I was giong to have a fight on my hands for my 24V after Ben the 14 year old Expert rode behind it. That was his first time behind a 24V and he was in love with the wake during practice runs at another lake on Monday and Tuesday. They will most certainly some kids to get some TIGE gear to. Ben and Ryan are good riders. Ryan got started because of Eric and Nick riding with them when they were younger in Austin, TX.

It was fun meeting everyone that I had not meet before and I hope to see you all the next time around when the Nationals come back to CA.

Here's the pics we have of that day, back in 2003.

Erik Ruck pulling an invert in the flats as only he can do.

Erik, Ryan, Nick and Ryan's brother, Erik. These guys got their board signed and it's been on their wall ever since.

Lake Austin. The Tige Team came to the 2003 Tige owner's reunion in Austin TX. The Ski Dock puts one on here at Emma Long park most years.
