Thats something that I would like to be a part of. I would also like for my son to get involved in this, he is need of a spiritual alignment and getting back on course with the Lord. If he was involved with helping kids that might give him a smile or make him feel like his boarding has a bigger purpose.

Sorry to say that we wouldn't be able to make those dates, a Mon. & Tue. will be at work and the distance would be hard to pull off, we will be at a glass and powder comp. at Lake Anna VA the weekend before. Wish I could be a part of it, I would love to help.

    Great logo by the way!
I don't want to go to work, take me wake surfing instead!

Glad to see the interest growing in this cause. I think that this will be a blessing for all that are involved. (you can't out give God!) As we get closer we are faced with some financial obstacles but I am going to trust that it will all work out. Success is much sweeter if you have to work for it.

I had been getting a little discouraged this week about some the expenses and wondered if I had set our goals too high or if I should try do less than planned. But this morning our Pastor's sermon was on having a vision & a dream to do do great things for Christ and to stay committed & focused. He said when you try to do great things you will be faced with great obstacles. God's timing for me to receive this message was perfect.

Our Pastor said a good example of being committed to something or being involved in something was similar to his breakfast; the chicken was involved with his breakfast but the pig was fully committed!

If anyone can help with this in any way please email me.
      greg@goboardgo.com

      what we need:
more boats, we have 6 committed but some may only be there one day
      items for goody bags
      door prizes
money will be used for insurance, food, EMS services, T shirts & pocket bibles
any money that is left over will used for gas

Thanks to everyone that has been helping, I really appreciate it!

Wow! This was a phenominal success! On Monday we ended around 8PM, and at 10:30, more than half dozen of us were still telling stories from the day. We split the kids up into boat teams. We had 8 boats, so we had about 4 kids per boat. We started off with volleyball, round 1 in the morning, semi finals after lunch, then the finals after supper. Reynolds crew were the champions!

Let me tell you, those kids were so appreciative of the time & efforts of all our volunteers. Some of the kids were a little apprehensive about getting behind the boat & some were just plain scared of the water, but in the end everybody mastered something. From Paulina, who got up on the very first pull, rode for about 2 miles & never fell to Cameron who tried & tried to get up all morning, I got him my boat around 3PM and by 6PM he was riding regular , switch & even did his first 180! The memories of the pride on his face is something you can never take from me! One of the most touching things was watching Deanna give Reynolds a big ole bear hug at the end of the day, thanking him for being there, Reynolds said that made everything worth it him. Jasmine told one of her friends to stop hugging me that I was her driver & leave him alone. So many stories, from everybody. I could go on & on.

Probably THE most touching thing for me, personnally. ( I need to preface this by saying I knew that I would feel good about helping others) What I didn't know is the tremendous amount of joy I would feel for & from my friends that came out & gave of thier time, boats, efforts, gas & most of all LOVE for this whole endeveor. I have been overwhelmed with how wonderful & unselfish my friends are.... and for this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart....

What a great experience! Here are a few pics from registration, volleyball, and most of the Tige's at the event + 1 BU. It was a week ago and I'm still feeling the good vibes from spending time with these kids...Thanks for the WTW vision Greg!

Just a few more pics. I didn't want to leave out pics of the Malibu, since it was a charity event. Jeff's boat and rig were awesome - a whole lot of yellow boat on a yellow tri-axle trailer pulled by a monster yellow Chevy. His sky chair riding was even more amazing!

Nice event. It is great that you are all willing to server others like that. I hope that all of us in this country can return to serving others and put aside all political and faith, or any other boundaries. If we can do this we would see our country coming together United One Nation Under God as it was set up to be by our for fathers. There is know doubt that you will be blessed for this.
