Hope you all have a blast. I got home at 5:00 and was thinking I should hook up and head that way. It would only be about 3:00am when I got there. Then I realized I was real tired from driving back from Utah. I had fun meeting with Talltigeguy and his family and I had the opportunity to make some new friends that he is already Friends with. The wife and my youngest son and I were able to go out Wednesday with them on there boat and it was great surfing with them and going to dinner with Tall and his wife the following night.

Have a blast at the event.

Well, I got no pictures since we somehow left the still camera at home, but I'll have to edit down and post some video of the rail jam and the double-up exhibition taken by my son.

We rolled back home Thursday from five days on Shasta, grabbed a few hours of sleep in a real bed, then my son, a buddy of his, and I beat it up to Rollins to complete a solid eight days on the water. The girls split to the coast leaving us guys to do our thing.

What to say? The totally SICK (to steal the vernacular) 45 foot long rail on which the riders totally JAMMED if they were''t flying all the way from the pool to the lake, rail be damned; the huge double ups from which the pros flew upside down into the sunset; the wonderful hospitality of da.Bell and his lovely wife and CP3; or, the necking dikes whom CP3 just had to notice. Or, maybe it was that I won a sweet ArcAudio amp and also WON THE PIMP MY TIGE raffle! Damn, what a day.

All this pales to the objective and hard work that went into the event. TigeBlue, you're the man. Bless you. I've lost both parents to cancer, and my wife lost her older brother to childhood leukemia. I hope we can actually meet up sometime. You were a busy guy this weekend.

Rollins is a lake that I've called home for years, well, decades, back to before my parents bought our first boat in 1970 ,but I'd never camped at nor spent any time hanging out on the patio overlooking the docks (and rail venue).

The staff at Long Ravine were the perfect hosts. The UC Davis crew MC'd the afternoon getting us all to dig deeper for the Cure. Did I say I WON THE PIMP MY TIGE raffle? The sponsors totally stepped up with raffle prizes like a wakeboard, wakesurfboard, wakeskate, amps, speakers, boardracks, tower lights, etc. Capital Watersports brought a complement of boats to display and vendors displayed their wares.

The DJs were cranking the tunes and the riders were awesome in their abilities and with their patient access to the littlest of kids and wannabe riders and divorcée mothers or younger groupies. But it wouldn't have happened at all without TigeBlue and his efforts. Thanks again.

As for the water? da.Bell and his wife took us out in the RZ2 Friday evening and the boys and da.Bell's wife showed their stuff. He'll have to post the pictures, if she'll let him. The boys and I managed first light runs in the mornings after that by ourselves. This morning apparently most of the otherwise boaters were having trouble arising after Saturday's festivities so we had the lake to ourselves and maybe a half dozen other intrepid soles. The boys are amped to learn some tricks, now that they've cleared the wake and seen how its supposed to be done.

As for me, well, the 2002 2000V Limited is due for a makeover. Did I say I won the PIMP MY TIGE raffle? Stay tuned.

Thanks all for a great weekend for the Cure.

NoWorries, congratulations on winning the Pimp-My-Tige. What a better way to have the oldest Tige out there and the winner wins the prize.

I do have pictures but we are getting our lives in order right now. Will try and post later today.

Did I say that I won two more tower speakers. Now I have to figure out how to power my boat with amps now...

As for Tigeowners.com members. It was great to see you all. I think I saw bandsecurity's boat out there coming in while the pro's were performing the double ups; tytanium (sp?) was definitely there and we never hooked up for the early morning rides; CP3, which is on an airplane right now going back home; tigeblue for putting on a great event; and noworries for winning the Pimp-my-Tige. There was another tigeowner member there but I forgot his handle.

              You are welcome Larry.

Lets not forget about Lightning Tower And Accessories; Liquid Force; Hyperlite; Wakeboarding Magazine; The Walker Project; Jeff Walker (aka surfdad), James Walker, and Dennis Horton; Rocklin Water Sports; Off Axis Board Shop; Capital Water Sports; and Carlos DaSilva also contributed to this event by providing the professional riders, product, and their time. Without them, this event would not have happened.

If I forgot to thank anyone, I am sorry...

What about that sic rail that Lightning and Capital Water Sports had a huge part in???? Truly amazing how those riders did it... Thank God it wasn't me doing it... Probably would have busted my arse doing it.....

At least at the cold water reunion pictures were posted the day before the actual reunion and then the same day of the reunion and then the day after the reunion. I don't think this event happened. They are just saying it happened. They don't have any pictures to prove it.

I think this qualifies as a lil later.

                                That boat looks sick.
