2008 West Coast Summer Wake Jam – Ride for a Cure



Please join us Saturday July 19th @ Rollins Lake Resort At Longs Ravine, Chicago Park Ca, as we promote awareness for children and families that are or were affected with childhood cancer.

Showcasing some of the world’s top riders: Ricky Gonzalez, Randall Harris, Daniel Dowd, Shelby Kantor, Keaton Bowlby, Aaron Aubrey, and Daniel Watkins to name a few with many more names to come.

Starting the day off, we are taking over an area of Rollins lake and presenting some of the most talented riders showing off their skills, and providing clinics in wakeboarding, wakeskating, and wakesurfing. There will be daytime activities such as music, silent auctions, raffles, food, beverages and much more.

Don’t miss out on the night time Rail Jam featuring Dj Slick D & Ron Reeser droppin all your favorite jams. We are creating one of the sickest night time rails with an awesome light show to go with it.

Raffle items range from t-shirts, ropes, handles, vests, and boards. Tickets will be sold from $5 to $15 a piece depending on which item is being raffled.

Silent Auctions will start at noon and last until 5 P.M. Some of the items being auctioned are tower speakers, wakeboards, bindings, wakeskates, wakeboard lessons from Delta Wakeboard Camp, and much more to be announced.

Capital Water Sports will have a raffle with prizes like T-shirts, hats, hoodies, Pimp-My-Tige … as well as a Tige boat display and providing rides for kids.

Donations will be accepted in various bins located throughout the event. A portion of the proceeds received from the auctions and raffles will be donated to U.C. Davis Medical Center Pediatric Cancer Unit
