I know part of this was my fault because I didn't get out there Friday night but I think it would be cool if the event was more then 4 hours long. It seemed people got to the spot around 11 and left at 3 when the raffle was over. A group camping potluck would be pretty cool. Maybe we could convince some to stay out of the hotel and enjoy the stars and weather in October. We had a great time camping Saturday night and the riding in the AM was awesome.

That is a tough time for me. I am not sure I will make it this year. Last year it worked out because I ended up having to work there. I was hoping for the end of September time frame. My sons band competitions and foot ball games start the first week of October each year and that will have to take priority. The wife and kids were hoping to be able to come with me this year with our boat.Comment

You are crazy CP3. That is one long haul with a boat unless you are moving back to the wild side of the United States. Of course you are young and not married yet so it is a little easier to do those crazy things.

You have way more energy than I do. You should find some lakes along the way to stop and play in. Instead of just driving across the country do a drive and boat across the country.
