Pictures from the Cold Water Reunion

Here are a few of the pics that I took while at the Cold Water Reunion. It was an absolutely beautiful day, water was very nice all day long. Had many opportunities to put faces with names. Lots of fun. A big thanks goes out to Talltigeguy and Matt from Boats of Nevada (and anyone else who had anything to do with putting on this great event).

First picture is of Doms dog with nice doggie booties.
Second is of Doms in the soundoff.
Third is lunchtime at the beach, hosted by boats of nevada.
Fourth is Matt and Tony from Tige.
Fifth is Matt's RZ4 that he brought for us to look over.

                    Great Event

Great event guys. It was great meeting all those I was able to meet. Next year I will have my boat and family with me.

I was a little disappointed in the way MATT handled the sound off. That should have been on sheer volume. If they wanted clarity I am sure DOMSZ06 and MOKI would have ran there set up a little different. They are both winners though. Great systems.

The Prop should have been raffled as directed by ACME. Instead it was given to someone with out any mention that a prop from ACME was given away.

Sorry that took place guys I did not know that is what MATT was going to do. I guess he did not notice that the certificate for the prop had my business name on it and he had no right to do that.

Anyways, all in all the event was worth it just to have meet each of you and it is nice to have a face to a name.

Plus I actually was able to get some slack in a surf rope for once. A big thanks to XPJIM for sharing his boat and equipment and for rescuing DOMSZ06 in the middle of the lake.

And last but not least a HUGE THANK YOU TO TALLTIGEGUY AND HIS FAMILY FOR ALL THE EFFORTS AND TIME put into the event to make it such a huge success.

Dan and Christy, nice pics. It was nice meeting you.

I would like to say who won the soundoff, but I don't know his name. If anybody else out there does, then post it so that we can give him his props. He did have a nice system and it sounded really nice. That kind of thing is purely subjective. My wife's idea was to send them out to the middle of the lake and see whose sounds would project the farthest. That would have been a different way to judge. I know that I heard Moki's from a long ways away.

Anyways, it was great meeting all of those that I did and seeing many others as well.

I think his name was Thompson. I do not think he frequents this site. He was running some standard Kicker interior speakers with a Kicker 12 inch L7 in a sealed box. He had 4 Focal speakers in Samson cans on the tower. The system sounded very nice. Was probably the 4th loudest...IMO, but the clarity was astounding and sounded very nice. They selected 3 judges for the contest (2 females, 1 male) and I think that they went for the clarity of the system.

I am fine with the subjectivity of the contest...I did not care to get all technical. There is little doubt that Dom had the loudest system. It was really nice to hear multiple systems back to back, something I had never done before.
                        Be excellent to one another.

That's why we haven't heard anything. Hmm, sounds like the contests didn't go the way they were supposed to.

                            BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!
We had such a good time........

IMO domz was the loudest with Moik a very close second then tall.

Domz NVS's were so loud that you couldn't tell he has 5 subs in the boat.

Jim congrats on the pimp my tige cash!!! I will trade you my 4 person tube rope for it...
