    First Annual NC/Southeast Tige' Owners Day

    First Annual NC/Southeast Tige’ Owners Day

    When: Saturday June 9th 2007 10:am to 4m
    Where: Lake Wylie Boat and Yacht ( HQ Marine)
    16310 York Rd. (Hwy 49)
    Charlotte NC 28278

    We plan to be out there early in the am (probably by 8am) and will be out until the “last dog is hung” so come early and stay late!

    The Marina is 22min / 14 miles from Charlotte Douglas Int. Airport.

    Lodging in Gastonia NC: I85 @ exit 20 ( 30 min / 18 miles from marina ) 15 miles West of Charlotte Douglas Int. Airport
    Lodging in Fort Mill SC: I77 and Carowinds Blvd. @ exit 90 ( 12 min / 7.5 miles from marina) 13 miles South of Airport
    Campground: Ebenezer Park http://www.yorkcountygov.com/department.aspx?deptID=18

    Things to do in the area: 4 hrs from the coast or 2 hours from the Blue Ridge Parkway

    We will have some good food, great fellowship, awesome give-a-ways and a “Pimp My Tige”. A couple of new Tiges to "test drive". We may have some live entertainment too (working on this). More details to come.

    Well, if I can talk my wife into a ten hour drive then we might be there. She seemed willing about a month ago when talk of the get together first surfaced. We'll have to see what comes up for plans. Is there anywhere to stay on the lake???

      No Hotels, but a nice campground. Ebenezer park is about a 20 min boat ride south from the marina.

        Update

        Wow, things are coming together really well. With 3 area boatshows down and one more to go, we have talked to alot of currant Tige owners and some proud new Tige owners as well.

        We have local band lined up to play some tunes for us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        Tige Team Manager, Chris Bischoff has arranged for a rider to come out and spend the day with us.

        Our area Rep Randy Omalia, who is a fantastic guy and has been great for this area, will be there also.

                            IM trying to come.. If we dont have family come up that weekend then we may be there. All depends if i get my sound system done first then I just got to convence them to camp instead of hotel. Im the only outdoors guy in the family besides my dad but he has no control over anything. So yea ive never really been able to do anything besides boating and Dirtbiking since Tracks are only 10 minutes from here Ill post and PM when im sure im going
