I am going. Not sure on the day. Going to help my niece and her husband buy a Mastercraft. Couldn't convince them on the TIGE.
Did they water test the MC yet vs the Tige? Have them ride in the MC and then the Tige and have you drive in front making a mess of the water and see what they have to say. The MC was the worst handling and worst boat in the chop that I drove.

yea. They water tested the boats. They board on the smaller lakes up around Bishop. Plus they are in my boat every summer. They really like the MC. Still have one more chance at the show

What are they looking at? My neighbor's own a X-2 (now X-1) and an X-10. They are nice boats and are well built, but both have huge flat spots on the back for wake shape and are rough riding in any chop. I drove the X-15 and X-30 and liked many features but they both pulled hard left when I drove them and tracked like crap (no tracking fins). They might be able to get a sweet deal from California Skier on an 06. I am sure they still have some in stock.

Looking to get the an 07 X1. They have been in all the boats they have liked. Everytime they have come out with me, my 2 TIGE's have had issues. Might be the reason. i am pretty easy going and my dealer has been great even though he is 150 miles from Havasu. They go out in their friends MC and never had an issue. Also little things in the TIGE, carpet coming unglued, clogged bilge pump due to junk left in the hull from the build, uneven seating surfaces due to the design etc. I love my TIGE and still think it was the best overall boat that met my needs. For them they are making a decision for the best boat for them.
Hey it will be good to have another boat for our yearly family get together in Havasu. Lat year had 19 people. Hated making 2 trips to the ramp to load and unload. Too much work for a old (young) guy like me

I have been on those trips before. Suck playing taxi. Now we have an overload of boats on each trip (a good problem). When is your Havi trip?
BTW- The X-1 is a nice boat and one of the few MC's I would conisder buying. It throws one of the best wakes of any boat on the market if not the best wake.

A friend of mine had an X Star and had nothing but trouble. He had do be towed in a dozen times in two years, Upholstery was falling apart, nothing but trouble with the trailer, he finally got rid of it after the transmission housing developed a hole in it.
I will be going to the boat show also. I might be there on the third. A friend is looking into a 24v. Hes been in my 22v and really likes it but needs more room.
I agree with you. All brands have issues. Its how you deal with it. My failures that left us dead in the water were transmission and v-drive. Not a Tige issue. Was I happy no, was it an inconvenience, yes but my dealer took care of me. I have towed in nautiques, malibu's, supra's, reinells, Advntage and eliminators.
You see horror stories on all brands of boatsd on various website. Is ussually the people who have problems are the most vocal. People making boat buying decisions need to do their homework. Wish more people would talk about there positive experiences.
My issues have not made me like my TIGE less but gives me the wisdom to use in my next boat purchase(if that ever happens as i will have 2 kids in college next year). This Tige is here to stay awhile
