Tige Watersports has a huge Tige owners regatta every year at the Bluewater Casino in Parker, AZ. It is normaly in Aug. Look for more info to be posted later in the year.

I think some impromtu gatherings will be happening this spring and summer in the Havasu area. I hope to have a chance to meet up with Wake Havasu and Xmjim and the others who visit that area of the river.

They use to have them at the Delta then they moved to Havasu now there at Parker. They go to the river because its the close to corona and parker can handle the over 100 boats that show up every year. I like the Delta but I live north of L.A. its about the same drive for me either way

Parker is the CA / AZ boarder. The Bluewater Casino is on the AZ side. The River is where you can get a huge gathering of boaters together and the weather is always nice and the scenery is even better . Plus most of the lakes in CA have about 1000 rules as the river is still a bit of the old west (to a degree). In the 2006 Tige catalog the pic near the back of all of the boats and people is from the Tige Watersports owners regatta. Parker and Havasu are just a few spots I think you should do at least once in your life. The thing I do hate about Parker is it is the deadliest location on the river. There are many (not as many now) bars on the water. When we were younger without kids that was our place. Some crazy days out there. Now that we are older and have kids we have moved up river a ways and the biggest party scene we hit now is the Sandbar, but we stay back in our un-official kids zone.

Yeah, I was just giving you guys a hard time. My buddy reserved a spot for me Memorial Day weekend at Havasu. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

The first Sat of each month a group of us congregate under the Sanata Monica pier for 8 oz jello shots.

                      Starts at 6pm.

Memorial Day can be a blast, but we stay away from the big weekends anymore. The launch lines are rediculous and way too many boats on the water. Plus they shutdown the Sandbar so there are even less places for people to hang out outside of their boat. Havazoo is wild during Memorial Day, but they do have some new laws that make it much easier for the Police to arrest you if you are acting like a fool (which is really a good thing for that area).

It definitely makes me nervous to bring the boat, but my buddy says he has a place he goes to every year and we were going to get there Thursday hopefully before it gets too crazy.

Thursday is not bad, but the Weekend the launch lines are nuts. Very often we don't even drop a boat and just hang out in the Channel. There is more than enought going on in there.
