I know you can rent houseboats on Billy Chinook. As much as I like Shasta, the water is pretty nasty. I've had some really good times there though and really wouldn't mind going again. We just haven't been back since we found our rental up at Almanor. A four bedroom, 3 bath house on the lake, private dock and no neighbors for a week for half the price of a houseboat for 5 days, hmmmmm. I'm just trying to come up with a good reason to drag the Tige up to Billy Chinook. I've only been there once, and that was to fish. The whole lake was glass and we didn't catch a single fish. Talk about a misappropriation of time. My pop lives in Redmond so it's a good fit for me.

Dude I'm in anytime, any place and especially if it's in Oregon it's super easy for me. We are in the process of planning our summer, I'll PM you my info if you want to hook up for a couple days up there. I have 2 kids 6 and 3 but they travel and party with us everywhere we go. Give me a hollar, there is also Jilly and Carter up here and I'm sure they'd be up to getting together.
