what is the exactly location this year? since I didnt go last year I dont know

That adds another layer of complexity to the whole situation. Since I am the primary organizer, and have no vested interest, it is just a Saturday thing.

I think that several people have exchanged numbers via this forum and plan on getting together in an informal setting on Friday night.

The official gathering will be on Saturday at the Marina at 9:00 am. Then we will all go out together to various parts of the lake. Home base will be set up at the sandy beach north of Echo bay about 4-5 miles. At noon we will plan on having lunch provided by BON, and have a stereo soundoff. Since we all expect DOM to win, I will discuss with him what format we use. Probably won't get fancy with DB meters and all that. A little birdie tells me that there will be some stiff competition, however.

Can we come? We just got back from sand hollow--not sure if I want to trailer that far again--but by october we may want to.

Mapquest is telling me going that way way is 30 miles longer then going up to 169 then down into echo bay

Is that faster.
I know some times the longer way can be faster because of the roads vs highways.
