    Ragboy,

Getting Super excited to get on the plane tomorrow! My Aiptek Camera really needs one of those mounts!!

If I don't get lost driving from the airport I should be there ready to help by 10:30.

For all your help, it's the least I could do.

Check my tweet, on the lake right now, doing a photo shoot for tige.

Had a great day doing a photo shoot with Tige today. Had the boats weighted for competition, and 3 of the best surfers behind a boat. We had James Walker, Sean Cummings and Nick Scott on hand. Tomorrow at 6am, we will be shooting with Chase Hazen and Johnny Stieg, can't wait.

We will be allowing on site registration from 10-11am on Saturday, and from 8am - 9am on Sunday, so it is not too late to compete. You will want to compete just for prizes alone. We will be having a raffle for the competitors on Sunday after the competition. Here are some of the prizes available:

        - Fresh Air Exhaust system valued at $440
        - 1000 lb Fly High Fat Sac w/ Tsunami Pump
        - Wakeshredder gear
        - Kodak HD Playsport Camera
        - XTRAC Traction
        - More!

Lastly, even if you are not competing, you will want to be there for the demos on Friday and Saturday. We will have lots of boards to try out, but not only that, several boats to ride in and ride behind. The wake9.com Tige 24ve will be there, a brand new Ski Supreme V226 will be there, but wait there's more! ;-) Danny Gutierrez and Ben Pigeon from Tige will be pulling demos in the contest boats, weighted for the contest. So you could get a ride in or behind a brand new 2010 RZ2 driven by a factory Tige rep.

        See you there!

I got a chance to chat with James last night when he rolled in from the shoot. He said the wake was sick and after playing with the TAPS setting, the wake literally booted him what felt like an extra foot in height. Ragboy's tweet's show some pictures of the wake - it sure looks massive.

Trying to recover after 3 days of sun and fun. The event was a masterpiece! Can't say enough about how well this event was run. My wife, Judy's, parents have retired to Florida and due to their age and physical condition have never seen James, their grandson, ride in a contest. With Ragboy's live streaming they were able to watch it over at their son's house and were just thrilled to death to have that opportunity!

The RZ2 performed well, killer wakes and the hull throws an equal wake on both sides. The organization was amazing - I've staged a few contests in my time and this one went so smoothly, it was very impressive.

Great prizes, trophies, food and above all the fellowship of so many wakesurfers in one place.

HUGE thanks to Robert and Amy for all their hard work and pulling this off, also to the entire wake9.com crew and staff and the good folks at Tige Boats, California Marine Sports, The Walker Project, Wake Shredder and everyone that participated or watched.

Great event! Looking forward to the next one.
