22i Ballast Install
Here are a few pictures of the ballast install I did on my 22i back in early March. I went the reversible ballast puppy route using all 3/4" hose with a 1 1/4 thru-hull to a PVC manifold. The switches all fit nice in open spots on the console and I powered the pumps by adding a Buss fuse block wired directly to the battery with 20amp fuses. These are some pics that I took just before the bags were in place - I have v-drive bags in the rear hatches and the integrated bow bag up front. I used the fly high quick disconnects and have check valves on the vents only - filling / emptying from the bottom of all 3 bags. I knew what the wake results would be since I ran this configuration all last summer - the only regret is I didn't do the install sooner.
I replaced two unused accessory switches and the shower rocker.
All wiring is 12 Gage, except the 8 gage direct to the battery and grounded to the factory ground block.

The manifold is made from schedule 80 threaded fittings, so no glue. I had purchase a cut-off valve, but didn't install it since the manifold location is under the rear deck. All the hose is 3/4" Tigerflex vacuum hose and connected with ss hose clamps.
The vent / overflows are all 3/4" ss thru-hulls

The bow bag is fed / emptied from each leg - pump is located the port storage compartments and tee'd to each side of the sac.
Rear pumps are located high enough in the rear hatched to allow the bag to fill, but low enough to prime. I did have to go back and put ss washers on the screws to keep them from pulling through the rubber bushings.
