Does anyone know if this engine is EFI

2004 Tige 22i was this an electronic fuel injection option or was it the carb version??
How does the boat handle a big lake, does it pancake in rough water like some direct drives do?

    Thanks TK

I'll take one. If you drop it off, you're invited for a long weekend at my lake place!

A friend is looking for a used boat. He asked me a few questions about Tige' and I told him I would sell him my boat so let me see if he is for real or just blowin smoke.
He has looked at an 2001 Malibu Wakesetter, but I think I have him leaning towards a used Tige'.

The Tige will be a much bigger boat for him. Storage is so important and obviously overlooked. My suggestion would be to have him borrow some of your boat stuff and then see what fits into the boats he's considering.

Every time I empty my Tige of all the stuff we store in it, it completely fills up my SuperCrew pickup truck.

I always mutter to myself, how do I end up with all this crap?

I always wonder why we even fit all that stuff in there and how it fits. It is amazing how much stuff you have in there that you don't know you have until you empty the entire boat.

That is the engine I have in my 04 22i Limited. Yes, it is MFI and no it does not pancake in rough stuff.

all tiges handle rough weather well as they have thicker hulls than most other manufacturers and we can adjust the height of the nose using the taps (like a trim tab) to handle the rougher weather. our 20i handled 5 foot waves when we were caught out in storm, so i doubt the 22i would struggle. Good luck with w/e your friend buys
