Pin and setup for prop on 02 22I-R?

Hi guys,

Finally got to pick up my new baby on Thursday from Michigan (harrowing experience but the boat is home...)

I noticed that the prop is attached with a bolt, but there is no pin or anything else as a safety. I will measure this morning and pick up a pin, but it looks like there' s a lot of room (extra threads) between the bolt and where the pin goes. Do you know if there's supposed to be another piece there??

Nope. The pin is just to hold the nut on in case it loosens. The nut is a locking type and as long as it is torqued, there is a minimal chance of it coming loose.

Took your advice, and jst put her in the water. It's freezing here and was pouring rain, but I can't say enough about how nice it was to have a boat I've never seen in person start humming after the first turn of the key.

Add the pin though....just in case.
