More storage

I have been wanting to do this for a while now. For those of us with a 22i that do not have a TAPS pump located under the seat to the left of the drivers seat in the walkway there is a good size empty space. With me adding some ballast bags this year I was looking for just a little more storage space.

Now the stock non-removable seat bottom is removable and I have a little more storage space. I used some rubber block's (like on the other seat's)to hold the seat bottom in place and it works great. I will probobly line the space with carpet to make it look better and smooth out the edge.

Whatever years have the hydraulic actuators. Mine is a '04 and it is electric. I think Tigé went back to the hydraulic in '05 and maybe some prior years also. '05 might be a mix.

my 2000 20i has the hydraulic pump in front of the captain's seat.

I wouldn't worry much about smoothing it. I would find some edging and cover it. That is as smooth as some of the hidden factory cuts on my boat.
