Nav Light switch pops breaker

I have a 2003 21I-R.. when I hit the Nav switch to do a little nightime cruising, the breaker pops. Any ideas what to look for?

I am currently having a similar problem. When I took dellivery of my boat some of the screws on the main switch panel where not completely screwed in. So this past weekend I decided to tighen those screws down and now I am have a problem with the switch panel shorting out the switches and some gauges.

So what I am saying is that take a look at the back of your switch panel and make sure that there is no where for the switch to short out.

The switch panel looks ok.. in fact, the wiring to the switch looks fine. There appears to be a diode of some kind that runs between the pos/neg on the switch, I'm wondering if that is bad. I've traced the wires, and everything seems normal.
