Yeah we invented a signal for the taps check and adjustment. We hold our hand flat towards the boat. Point your hand down for a lower setting and up for an increased setting.

That is a great idea - Thanks! She-who-must-be-obeyed is new to boating and all the tips and tricks make her more and more comfortable. She does a great job pulling me around but does have a bit of a lead hand out of the hole.

The best part of the day though was dropping anchor and all 6 of us playing in the river. Out in the middle of nowhere (it felt like) with your family playing can't be beat!!!
