Today was my first trip out on my new 1998 pre 2200 I wt and I was shocked how low the bow rides. What does everyone do to minimize water over the bow from wakes and when slowing down. The first wake over the bow was an eye opener for my kids.

As the rollers approach, ya barely tickle the gas and the roller will dispurse below the gunnel.
I like the style of the low front, and Tige's are one of the very few, (if any) other boats where ya have outstanding view over the bow of oncoming boat traffic.
That's a bfd to this family.
Some Mastecraps are ridiculous. The driver has to sit on 3 phone books to see over the dash when towing, and they look silly towing with the nose in the air.Last edited by Wake Bandits; 06-11-2007, 01:01 AM.

NO ROLLERS
I think I read this on a post here, but it really works for me. When your boarder falls, as you cut power, turn hard left. After the boat settles in the water, go back and retrieve your boarder to the right as you normally would. There will be no rollers to go through. I started doing this this season, and it works great. I just had to get used to a new way of going back for my riders.

When a boarder falls. I just pull back on the gas to idle and turn right, wait a second for the wakes to pass (wakes are usually gone by the time I get turned around) and head back to the riderEverything happens for a reason

Stop the power turns
After your rider falls or drops just pull off the throttle utill the boat almost stops. Then slowly turn around to pick them up. If you turn the boat hard left or right while it is still moving you our going to throw a nice roller down the lake. We dont need more rollers! Plus you look like a big Wally making those power turns.

I can no longer complain about a low bow because I went on my friends mastercraft. In his boat you can come off plain in pure glass and if you have two ppl in the front you will dip the bow. very scarey.Everything happens for a reason
