Where is the best place to put my Faria depth sounder?Somewhere near the ski pylon mount???

Mine is towards the rear of the hull drain in the middle of the boat. So pretty close to the pylon,

Finally remembered I had a picture that just clips the transducer. You can see it on the left almost out of the picture.
