use a boom on a 2000 21i

Has anyone used a boom on a 2000 21i Tige. I have a friend who has an old Nautique w/ a boom. It clamps on the center post w/ a cable to the front hook. I am wanting to teach my 6 year old son to ski and wakeboard using the boom. Any suggestion good or bad would be greatly appreicated.

I cant think of any reason why you cant put a boom on your boat. We dont have your year but we have a boom on our 20 i we have been useing it for 3 years without any problems.

We spend a lot of time on the boom because we sponsor the Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team. ABSOLUTELY you can use a boom with your boat. Call your local Barefoot International Fly-High Dealer and he can get you a boom for your boat. You will need a bent contour boom so the boom will pass behind the windshield. It is a different item number than what is used for a Nautique. Also make sure you get the height adjuster as it makes life much easier.
