Hey guys. I recently purchased a 2001 tige 20ci and cannot figure out for the life of me how to use the board racks. The owner before me had the same problem and wished me luck on figuring them out. Anyone know? I have 3 straps he gave me with them, but they seem either too long or short. Anyone have the manual for this boat. Thanks.

I have the same crappy tower and the boards just lay flat on the pads on the top bars or on the main tower bars. My straps are screwed to the bars towards the center and then they wrap up and over the wakeboard and then hook onto those small hooked ends of the bars then just sinch the strap tight. There kind of cheesy but they work. HTH

I had the same problem with a 2001 21V.
I ended up just removing the straps, and going with Monster Tower Racks. Much better looking ang more functional.
We now just use the "ANTENNA LOOKING" things to hold our ropes on.
I can email you some pics of what we replaced ours with.Attached FilesA bad day of boating is better than a good day of work, anyday!

Straight up Monster products mirror right there.
I know this has been said before, but please be careful with that tower. There aren't too many of them left for a reason, the rest are broken. You've got a great boat that deserves a better tower. That being said, I know new towers are spendy, but, coming from somebody who had one of those tower, they are worth every penny. I was lucky enough to not have mine break on me while in use, but that was partly due to the fact I replaced it with some much stronger before it broke. Others were not so fortunate. While that tower is on there, be sure to check and tighten ALL the bolts throughout the tower.
Just trying to spread the safety tip. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Which part is the "H" bar. Has there been any recalls? My tower looks just like the pic at the very top (1st post). Do I have to worry about this tower? I have a 6 yr old just learning to ski, wakeboard and I usually have people riding in the back. I always pull tubes from up high so people can sit back there. When we ski we pull from down low unless someone is just learning. Can someone post the link from where it is on this forum. I have been looking and haven't found it. Thanks.
