So, I have a '01 21i and have kept it up pretty well. Today I took her out on a short shake down ride to make sure all was working properly and the taps woudl not function. Noise was coming from the motor, but no plate movement. I finally fiured out that the reservoir was right there with the motor and checked the fluid. It seemd to be low, so I added some ATF and it began to work again.
My question is...It the plug a dipstick also? Does the fluid need to be full enough to touch the bottom of the stick? There are no lines on it and I wanted to make sure before I added more.
