Small Oil Leak at Taps 2005 21i

Anyone know if it is easy to remove the 3 stainless screws on the back of the 2005 21i taps up againts the boat bracket and try to see why there is a small amount of oil running along the bottom of the bracket. The small amount of oil where the 3 screw brackets are under it little oil lightly spills out over time sitting. Harvey at Tige factory in Texas said its a easy to fix. Says remove the three screws pop of the black bracket and hit to break silcon seal and there in the back of the boat inside the hole should be a area to tighten to stop small little drips. Is this correct. Plese reply. Thank You, Todd ;-)
