My throttle handle (which has my Taps switch in handle) recently broke (the knob itself)and the switch no longer works. I have a 2002 21 type R. I haven't been able to get a hold of my local Tige dealer yet and am running into problems finding a new handle. Does anyone have an idea on replacement parts or how to fix.....thanks

I was also sick of the taps wiring from the handle not working in my 21i so I just rewired it under the dash. I bought a new switch from mouser electronics and used the old one in the shifter handle as a dummy just for the look. Really easy to wire, and being a stationary part not forced to move with the shifter handle, it has worked 100% reliable ever since. Shifter knob still flops around a bit but I don't worry about it anymore.Comment
