boat repair place in Portland, Oregon?

Can anyone recommend a boat repair place in Clackamas/Portland, Oregon? I got into a rock real good this weekend and it bent the shaft, and seems to have pushed the rudder and prop support up into the fiberglass some. So far the insurance company has been great, but I want to make sure that it's done correctly. I was thinking about active water sports in Oregon city. Anybody else have any experience?

    Thanks
    Jason

lots of the moomba/supra guys swear by aws. I have heard many great things about their service/parts department.. it's where I would go first if I was in your area...

Dude. Not quite - at least not yet. Were at $5627 so far. I was up at Yale Reservoir in southern Washington. I was just above idle, probably 5 mph, with a boat full waiting for the boat launch to open up. There were several boats in the area doing the same. About 50 feet off shore when - WHAM. Fortunately we were going slow enough that no one was hurt. I shut the engine off and looked down, about 6-8 feet of water. Looked back and a big *** rock was about 6-12" below the surface. It looks like I took it dead center. The guy behind me at the boat launch said, "yeah, I lost two props there last year".

Were out rudder box, prop, shaft, strut support, rudder, and a bunch of glass work.

        Thank God for Insurance.

I think the main difference is on yours they won't have to remove the motor to get to the repair.

You must have a V drive then? Or did you loose a tracking fin?

Looks like the insurance guy is going to approve the repair, so, Hopefully I'll be back on the water in the next two weeks.

I have similar damage to you guys and I am wondering if the repair shop replaced the transmission? The shop that I took mine to has the engine out already and said that they have to replace the tranny. My insurance adjuster is going to the shop tomorrow. I think the shop is full of $hit and ripping off people...

Supirior Inboard in Lake O- hands down. Real good guys and could build a ski boat by scratch. (I think they have actually.)

These guys seem really knowledgable and only do inboards. They have been around a long time. This is where we take our boat for anything I don't/can't do myself. Never had any major work done but like it is said above, I am sure they could easily build the boat from top to bottom. Pat or Chris are the people to talk to.

Sounds like two good places to go, AWS and Superior.
