    New 1993 pre2002wt owner

First of all, thanks for all the good information. It really helped me locate a good boat. I found the above boat from the original owner. Montana lake boat 261 hours, samson tower, etc. The guy was meticulous with the maintenance and it shows.

I'm currently working through the following:
    1. solid interior cleaning and exterior polish. Thanks for all the input as to what chemicals to use.
    2. I need to install some cabin speakers. It's got the tower speakers which work great, but I can't hear the music when I'm driving. I'm thinking about adding four 6" speakers and a small sub with an amp...not sure yet
    3. add a depth finder. Suggestions?

Nice looking Tige, it's amazing how well these boats hold up with owners take care of them...

So, I went to license the boat today, and Somehow I missed that both the Hull and previous title list this boat as being a 1996. SO, I guess I just upgraded to a 1996 Tige pre2002wt

          Sweet boat!

Depth finder is good if you are going to be fishing. For skiing and boarding, pretty useless. By the time the depth finder tells you you're too shallow it's too late The only thing my depth gauge does is make me nervous.

          Good luck and welcome!

Thats a nice surprise to get, my luck typically goes the other way. I agree the depth is basically worthless unless going very very slow around a dock or ramp. But then they are only as accurate as they were set, and most arent set correctly (+-) a few feet
