TAPS pump location

Can anyone tell me where the TAPS pump/reservoir is on a 2004 22i?

if it's hydraulic then it is under the seat you step over to get in the bow. there should be a access door next to your (drivers) left foot.

OK, how about a 2002 21V ???

On a 2002 21v open the starboard rear storage hatch and there is an access panel at the very back. Open that and it should be right there. If the boat has dual batteries it will be a bit harder to see but is there next to the battery.

I have 2 batterries on the left side and a shower on the right (I forget which is called port or starboard). Nothing is near the batterries but when I removed the shower located on the right rear access panel, I found a small black box. Nothing was written on it so I'm wondering if that's my TAPS pump/reservoir?

If it had two small shiny black hoses coming out of it, then that would be the TAPS pump.

If it is electrical like mine (04 22i) there isn't one.

Or like Tige M.D. said under the seat to the left of the driver.

I just bought a 2001 20i and can't find the TAPS pump/reservoir location....any ideas?? My TAPS system kinda works. The switch on the handle moves the flap from full up to about 25% down....but the TAPS gauge doesn't show any movement. If is has a pump with ATF fluid i'd like to check that first.....but cant find it.

i cant help you with the location on the pump very im sure someone will chime in on that but i can tell you someone just posted about the wiring to the gauge so you could get that working

Did you try behind the observers seat on the floor under the carpeted box?

On my 06 20i. It's at the back of the starboard rear seat storage compartment. (Left if looking from the front of the boat looking back) Kind of opposite location to the batttery .

Pull the seat cushion and you will find it.

Can anyone tell me where the TAPS pump/reservoir is on a 2003 22i? Or is mine electric because I searched all of the locations listed on threads and have not located it? TAPS will not move but I do see the gauge twitch when the switch is pressed on the throttle.

I thought on 2003 22i was under the observers seat.
